Important Installation Tips

Placement is critical – Once Step is adhered, if repositioned the adhesive loses strength. Experiment with 

Test before permanent placement:

  1. Remove only a tiny bit of backing OR use a scotch tape loop to test position
  2. Walk around to ensure the highest point sits at the center of your longitudinal arch
  3. Mark the correct location with several points inside your shoe
  4. Carefully and slowly remove the backing (quick removal can pull adhesive away)
  5. Place Step precisely on your marked location

I’ve been using these for years. My podiatrist recommended an insert for arch support, but I found it made my shoes feel too tight. With these, I have the support just where I need it and can walk for miles

Love these arch supports. Two things that could improve them would be: 1) needs better stick so they will stick to most shoe surfaces (mine wouldn't stick to a swayed shoe, 2) the white arch part should match the color of the insert so when worn with sandals it won't catch a person's eye.

I've been using these heel inserts for 7 years since having hip replacement surgery and ending up with a slightly shorter leg. I put them in all my shoes, generally under the insole if I can. l even use them in open heel sandles by hiding them under my heel as they stick right to the shoe. That is why I was happy to see that they come in black now, too. The best part is that the inserts fit in either a left or right shoe, and I can fix 2 pairs of shoes with each package. Great product!
