Bought two sets of these for Chelsea boots with heel slippage. Very secure adhesion and softness of pads makes wearing these boots so fun. Recommended for any shoe fit problems. Thanks!
Easy to order, fast to arrive, easy to apply. I have a low volume instep, and these not only do a good job of filling the space, the suede and foam is comfy and looks natural, seamlessly blending into my boots. I'm happy with them!
I bought these to put into a pair of leather Huaraches that were slipping and causing me blisters. They helped with that issue and the shoes feel much better. They also held up on a trip to Costa Rica where the shoes were worn daily in heat, humidity and getting wet at the beach. Still attached to the tongue and working great!
when my Barker's penny loafers came in, I was really excited to put them on and stride around - I purchased a size US -10, though my usual size is US- 9.5. When it finally came in, it was just a bit bigger and caused my heel to slide out of the shoe. Thicker socks didn't work - and the only other option was to get a tongue pad. After looking around I came across Pedag - suede, and Made in Germany, also it wasn't too thin nor one of those thick kinds. Did my research and found out that Pedag had been selling quality stuff over the years. And that's how I ended up purchasing it.
One gripe - - I have a feeling that the glue may not be the strongest, it could fall off after a while, but only time will tell.
The tongue pads are more narrow than the edges of the tongues of the new sneakers that are causing me top of foot pain. I'd hoped the pads would cushion the hard edge of the tongues, but the pads sit to narrow and don't impact the comfort at all. Wish these came in wider versions which could help.
I bought these tongue pads for two reasons. I have narrow heels and wanted to keep my feet from sliding forward in my walking shoes and bumping my toes. I also wanted to pad the too-thin tongue of these shoes to cushion my instep from irritation by the laces.
The pads appear to be solidly made and were easy to apply to the tongues of the shoes. So far, they've stayed in place. My feet no longer slide forward in the shoes, and I can lace them more firmly. My instep is better, though still a bit tender.
So glad I found this product. I bought loafers that were half a size too big and now after putting these on, they fit perfect.
The tongue in my oxford shoes kept rubbing up against the front of my foot causing me discomfort and these helped lessen the friction.
Saved my boots!
Good quality. Adhesive is holding well so far. I put these in 4 pairs of shoes. Wish there was a thicker version to fill the space above my foot even more.
Another product I keep in inventory as many boots in my E width foot has too much volume in my instep area. These tongue pads helps fill in some of the volume. Adhesive is very strong and once on will never come off.
Tongue pads function as expected, but greatly disappointed that they discolored my lighter colored socks used in golf shoes and trainers. Surely you don't need to die them for this reason... they are generally unseen in all cases.
They make shoes fit better, which makes them a great asset to have for shoe inserts.
