Recovering from a torn plantar fascia and 2 inflamed Achilles (tennis). Spent a year in running shoes and use sport-oriented orthotics that won’t fit in dress shoes. I purchased 5 types of pedag to find what will work in current and future work (office) shoes. Other “dress” versions lift the heel way too high so shoes slip with those. Too bulky. This version with high arch is superb, for me. I will buy future shoes with an extra 1/2 size to accommodate this. I would like a 3/4 version for current shoes, because the high arch is not available in those. . I recommend testing several options, and then shopping for shoes once you know which works the best.
Really like these. Totally flat footed with Plantar Fasciitis. Was wearing inexpensive ones to try an orthotic out, and wife ordered these. Was wearing inexpensive ones my Red Wing work boots until these. Size was perfect. A bit of change from plastic ones (for the better) and hoping they continue to resolve my foot issues. Really well made product.
meta pad is good but I wished the front of the insole isn't that "thin". I wish the plastic backing went all the way to the tip. And if I wish more, larger meta pad.
I have now bought four pairs of Vivas. I will used them to replace insoles in Mephisto, New Balance and even a new pair of Samuel Hubbards. My shoes fit much better and are more comfortable. Thank you, Pedag!
The insoles are slim so good for dress shoes but not enough support for me for daily use in work boots or sneakers.
My husband and I both use these. They are very thin, yet have very good arch support. The leather is slick, so it is easy to slide your foot into the shoe. I use these in dressier shoes when I do not want the bulk. These are not cushy ones like the ones I use in tennis shoes and boots.
I have used Pedag inserts for the past 40 years on nearly all of my leather shoes. They accommodate my high arch, shallow foot, long toes and narrow heel.
This seems to work to put my foot in a comfoposition. The only proble is how easily it bends or crumples when putting it in a shoe or boot.
After trying other popular brands of orthotics for my shoes, I decided to try Pedag. I chose Viva due to the all over support. Viva provides the support I need and they are extremely comfortable and fit perfectly in my flats. I would definitely recommend Viva by Pedag.
I have Viva inserts in three pairs of shoes. I feel they give me the added arch support I need. I just purchased a size 10 insert for a new pair of size 9.5 shoes. The insert fits perfectly! Am very happy with this product!
This is actually my 3rd pair. I started a 2nd job where I work on my feet all day and I flared up my planter fasciitis. Bought some orthopedic shoes and we added these Viva inserts. Love them,
I work for the US Postal Service and out a lot of miles on my insoles. These by far hold up the best, look great and are overall such a great value.
More kudos: Helps keep your feet cool while offering all the arch support and heel rebound you need (multiple levels of arch support). Leather topper seems to not get stinky or absorb odor, probably because it keeps your feet cool at the same time. These don’t compress like high end foam insoles will, they rebound very nicely. The actual materials are a great balance of greener construction and materials which is a huge factor in why I bought from Pedag to begin with. Lastly, that price! Did you know you even get a discount for bulk purchases?
Also check out their memory foam, it’s great too. But the Viva is hands down best insole overall.
I used to spend $100 plus for a pair of customized inserts, no more. When I compare Pedag’s inserts to my customized inserts, I don’t see a difference and at a fraction of the cost. Best inserts I have ever purchased. Brian
Great product. We only wish the arch type selection would be clearer on the website.
Perfect fit in most shoes and really provide good support. The leather surface is much nicer than plastic or foam.
Thin, quality, comfortable.
I love them. The only issue was you suggested the wrong size for my 10 1/2 show. The 11s you suggested were too big, but i was able to use them in another shoe. I ordered 10’s that work perfectly.
Need to wear socks otherwise it sticks to the bottom of your foot
This is the 5 or 6 pair I've bought for all my shoes and boots. Love them all!
